The company amassed a 30,000 square foot production facility to engineer, produce and distribute their high caliber diesel performance products. The original company; Valley Fuel Injection Ltd., has more than 35 years in the diesel performance parts business. The BD Diesel Performance brand was introduced in 1989 when the first exhaust brake for diesel pickup trucks was designed - a breakthrough in innovation.

BD Diesel Performance specializes in Ford, Dodge and GM truck transmissions. Remanufacturing is a word not known to BD in this area as every BD Diesel Performance transmission is a 'one-off' completely redesigned unit engineered to handle at least twice the amount torque normally handled by OEM transmissions. BD Diesel Performance makes complete replacement towing and race transmissions available as well as valve and accumulator bodies. BD Diesel Performance builds custom torque converters with customized stators, clutches and covers for ultra high power applications.
